Port Orchard Yacht Club Labor Day Weekend Cruise This weekend is the official Hobo Cruise for our Yacht Club. We cruised into our destination around noon on Friday, just around the corner at the Bremerton Yacht Club. WOW... what a beautiful club and marina they have! The docks are both open and covered, boat houses line the wide and well lighted docks. The club house has a large meeting rooms as well as a big common area where we enjoyed a great breakfast this morning. The kitchen is set up to feed an army! They also have a very nice little park and a a Hugh pavilion that also boasts a full kitchen on one end and a gas fireplace on the other... FANCY... We were supposed to have one oar dingy races today but after that big breakfast I think everyone just wants to take a nap to kick back and just visit. Tonight we are BBQing burgers in the pavilion. I have to work on my Hobo costume. Tomorrow night they crown the King and Queen Hobo and of course I plan on winning. LOLSaturday September 3, 2011
